Computing

Technology is used at Goodwyn to enhance learning and has been carefully selected to support and engage pupils which develops essential skills to ensure achievement of future aspirations. At Goodwyn, we want to prepare our children for the ever-changing technological world through teaching a varied Computing curriculum and using digital learning across the curriculum.

Computing is broke up into three strands: Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy (all taught within the context of online safety).

Our broad curriculum encourages our pupils to use technology to be creators, not just consumers of content by ensuring they apply their understanding practically as well as begining to evaluate the ways in which they have done so.
