SUMMARY:World Book Day
DESCRIPTION:Goodwyn will celebrate World Book Day by drawing upon the theme
  of ‘The book that made me’. Please note that children and staff will 
 not be dressing up this year.\nFriends of Goodwyn have been organising a b
 ook swap to further mark the occasion. In order that every child participa
 tes and is the owner of a new book\, please send in a book that your child
  has loved and is willing to pass on to a new reader. We ask that this be 
 in pristine condition and brought to school no later than Monday 4th Marc
 h. Please bring your book in a bag with your child’s name and class clea
 rly labelled. We thank you in advance.\nNearer the time\, we shall be invi
 ting the children to bring in a book that they hold dear to them and consi
 der completing the sentence\, ‘The book that made me…’ For example\,
  the book that made me laugh\, cry\, read more\, happy\, imagine etc. They
  will have the opportunity to share this with their peers and inspire othe
 rs to read the book too.
