As part of their weighing topic, Nursery children put their new skills into a real life context. They used scales to carefully measure and weigh their cupcake ingredients.

They all had a turn at weighing and mixing and finished by baking their cakes in the oven. The children all enjoyed putting what they had learned into practise and were excited to take their cupcakes home to eat.
