Peter Ancketill from Glassbusters is working with Goodwyn to reduce our waste. The company designed and supplied us with a special, bespoke paper baler machine. The eco committee watched as we compressed our first batches of paper towels- over 22 bags of them. Once full, the machine will be emptied and we will find out how they can be recycled and reused.
Data collected in school about our rubbish will be shared with pupils in an effort to reduce and reuse as much as possible for the good of our local community and to raise awareness of global environmental needs. We are very excited about our new initiative.
