Transition have been learning about Remembrance Day and the significance of the Poppy. We waited until after Remembrance Sunday to walk to the War Memorial in Mill Hill.

The children discovered that there were many men who served our country in both World Wars, who came from Mill Hill and whose names they saw engraved on plaques.  They also looked at the wreaths and poppies that had been laid.

We will never forget.
