As part of our commitment to well-being, all children at Goodwyn had the chance to focus on a variety of activities which helped them to feel good.

Children learnt that being at one with nature, exercising, eating healthily, positive thinking and positive affirmation, music and mindfulness techniques all play a powerful part in making them feel relaxed and happy.

Children were shown that giving and connecting with others as well as taking up new hobbies has an impact on brain function too.

Activities to support these theories included a smoothie bikes session in the playground, art work expressing thoughts and feelings about ourselves and relaxation in the classroom.
