Last week we took part in another successful ‘STEM’ week…

‘STEM’ stands for:

𝕊𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚
𝕋𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮
𝔼𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜
𝕄𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨

These subjects are often grouped together as many of today’s jobs and work projects involve people from these subject areas working as part of a team.

From Nursery to Prep (yr6) we put our teamwork skills to the test… with interactive activities and workshops. We can safely say that the children have truly been immersed in the world of ‘STEM’.

We have also worked on our problem solving skills and we really emphasised that making mistakes is a very important part of our learning!

Thank you to out fantastic STEM team , external workshops including Eco with Megan Finn and Creative Maths with Simon Payne and our amazing parent volunteers who came to speak to the children. Together they helped to provide this action-packed week!
