Join our dynamic team at Goodwyn and make a difference in children’s lives as our new After School Club Supervisor.
Hours: 5 afternoons a week during term time (2:50pm – 5:30pm)
Job Description: As an After School Club Supervisor, you will work with a colleaague, preparing, planning, organising, and leading a variety of engaging activities for children aged from three to eleven. Your role will involve:
- Creating a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all children.
- Planning and delivering a range of activities which engage our children.
- Supervising and supporting children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Managing resources and maintaining a tidy and organised club space
- Helping serve a light meal, prepared by our kitchen team in line with allergy advice.
- Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and children.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding behaviour and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a similar setting.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (desirable).
- First Aid certification (desirable).
