On Thursday 20th<\/sup> January, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, the Prep class met Hedi Argent MBE during an online meeting with many other schools across the country.\u00a0 As a survivor of the Holocaust, Hedi was able to explain to Prep first hand what it was like to grow up in Austria just before the outbreak of WW2.<\/p>\n She said that she felt very grateful to be brought to England on the kindertransport.\u00a0 Her main message was that we are all different and yet we are all the same.\u00a0 Prep asked some very thoughtful questions, many of which were chosen by the organiser to be put to Hedi.<\/p>\n At the end, Prep said that they had learned to be more grateful for what they have and that they\u00a0should not just stand by and let bad things happen.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On Thursday 20th January, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, the Prep class met Hedi Argent MBE during an online meeting with many other schools across the country.\u00a0 As a survivor of the Holocaust, Hedi was able to explain to Prep <\/p>\n
