After School Club Supervisor

Join our dynamic team at Goodwyn and make a difference in children’s lives as our new After School Club Supervisor.

Hours: Five afternoons a week during term time (2:50pm – 5:30pm)

Job Description: As an After School Club Supervisor, you will work with a colleaague, preparing, planning, organising, and leading a variety of engaging activities for children aged from three to eleven.  Your role will involve:

• Creating a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all children.
• Planning and delivering a range of activities which engage our children.
• Supervising and supporting children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Managing resources and maintaining a tidy and organised club space
• Helping serve a light meal, prepared by our kitchen team in line with allergy advice.
• Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and children.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding behaviour and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a similar setting.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (desirable).
• First Aid certification (desirable).
