Last week we took part in our first ‘STEM’ week! 🧪🤖👷🏾‍♀️🧮

‘STEM’ stands for:

𝕊𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚

𝕋𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮

𝔼𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜

𝕄𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨

These subjects are often grouped together as many of today’s jobs or work projects involve people from these subject areas working as part of a team.

From Nursery to Prep (yr6) we put our teamwork skills to the test… with activities and workshops ranging from parachute building to watching live science experiments and from robotics to making a blood sample!! We can safely say that the children have been truly immersed in the world of ‘STEM’.

We have also worked on our problem solving skills and have really emphasised that making mistakes is a very important part of our learning!

Thank you to all the staff and external workshops that helped provide this action-packed week, the children had a fantastic time!
