We’re working towards our Community Action Badge!

This year the Anti Bullying Ambassadors are working towards earning The Community Action Badge as part of The Diana Award.

They thought what better way to support the local community by carrying out a litter picking session on the surrounding roads of the school. They put together a wonderful assembly to explain to the school what they would be doing. They then created a flyer to tell the neighbours on Poet’s Corner all about the litter picking morning. They enjoyed posting the flyers into all the neighbours and had some lovely chats with any that were around.

They then teamed up with the Eco Committee and all 16 children spent an hour picking up litter from the streets around the school. Thank you to Barnet Council for supplying all of the equipment.

Thank you to our wonderful Anti Bullying Ambassadors and Eco Committee for working so well as a team to keep our local streets litter free.
