Admissions for our Nursery and Prep School
We’re delighted that you’re considering becoming part of the family at Goodwyn school. Early registration is recommended with our main entry at Nursery and a smaller entry at Reception. Once the list is full, we can place your name on a reserve list. Pupils are accepted on the list on a first come first served basis.
Nursery and Reception
We are now taking applications for our Nursery and Reception classes for September 2026 and beyond. We have a limited number of occasional spaces remaining for this academic year.
Key Stage 1 and 2 (Mid year / Occasional places)
Owing to recent family relocations, a small number of places are currently available across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Please call the school office on 020-8959-3756.

Step 4: Informal Interview and/or Assessment.
Depending on the year group, applicants may be invited to attend an informal interview and/or assessment. This helps us get to know your child and ensure we can support and tailor their learning journey with us.
- Nursery & Reception: A relaxed, informal chat and play session together with your child, usually held the winter before they join.
- Key Stage 1 & 2: Children are invited for informal assessments in Maths, English, and Reading, followed by a Taster Session with their peers.
Step 5: Offer & Acceptance
Successful applicants will receive an offer of a place. Once accepted and your deposit is received, we’ll guide you through everything you need for a smooth start—including our Induction Afternoon where they will meet their new classmates and teachers.
Step 6: Induction afternoon
Before the start of term, your child will be invited to our Induction Afternoon.
This is a friendly, welcoming opportunity to:
- Meet their new classmates
- Say hello to their teacher
- Explore their classroom
- Begin settling in with confidence
Step 7: First Day at Goodwyn
Your child begins their journey, making their first of many happy memories at Goodwyn.
