Welcome to Goodwyn. Please find below some essential reading following your Induction Afternoon. Please take the time to read it all through. It will help you prepare for your child’s first day and beyond. The documents will also provide detail on the forms which require completion and return prior to the start of next term. These form part of the ‘Goodwyn School New Pupil Induction’ pack handed to you on your Induction Afternoon.

We want to ensure that all our children stay safe online, whether that is in school or at home. We have therefore produced a series of guidelines which we would like you to read and agree to please. We also ask our children in Key Stages 1 & 2(years 3 to 6) to confirm their agreement to them. Use of digital images, photography and video.

We like to capture what our children have been up to around school and share it with parents. There are various ways we like to do this and naturally we require your permission to do so. Please read the document below which provides further detail and then complete the online form via the link to provide us with your permission of where and how we may use your child(ren)’s image or work.

Additional forms for completion and return please.

There are a number of other forms for your completion please. These are also in your Induction Pack. Some of these ask for key information such as any medical details we need to be aware of and others only need completion if you require additional services such as our breakfast of after school clubs. For ease we have split them into mandatory and optional. It is important we have these back comfortably before the start of term so we can process this key information.
